One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, invites you to join as a Customer Service Assistant in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same. You will help stock shelves, process payments, and keep the store neat while putting customers at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Know my customers and serving them with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
• Actively encourage customers to give feedback on their shopping trip through completing the have your say survey.
• Work across all areas of the store including online, the tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to ensure tasks are completed to meet the needs of our customers.
• Put training into practice to ensure we work safely.
• Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
• Be knowledgeable about store performance and understand the part we play to deliver profit.
• Be myself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
• Clock in and out at the start and end of shifts to be paid accurately for hours worked.
• Keep myself, colleagues and customers safe by following security procedures and wearing safety equipment as needed.
• Follow the think 25 policy when serving age restricted products.
• Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts and explain actions to customers.
• Work in a clean, tidy and organized manner with aisles clear of congestion.
• Occasionally run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
• If the store has a Post Office Local, perform day-to-day operations and pass background checks as required.
