Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG) seeks a friendly receptionist for the Nashville Division office to greet members, vendors and visitors and route phone inquiries to the right AWG staff. The role emphasizes courteous service and accurate information to support store profitability.
Key duties include answering calls, directing visitors, performing general clerical tasks, and maintaining security awareness, with opportunities to assist across departments as needed.
SUMMARY: Responsible for providing superior customer service to all visitors to the AWG Nashville Division office. This includes greeting members, vendors and all visitors onsite as well as ensuring the office phone inquiries are routed to the appropriate AWG employee. Follow through with problem resolution on calls from member stores to achieve the ultimate customer service goal.

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and speak fluent English. Bilingual-Spanish preferred but not required.
Possess the ability to read and interpret departmental financial and operating statements, policy and procedure manuals. Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
