Job summary

ESFM, the facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a full-time Customer Service Assistant at AstraZeneca, Gaithersburg, MD. The role supports call-center operations and work-order management, with standard 8:00 am–4:30 pm hours, Monday–Friday, and a pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include handling calls and emails, processing service requests, data entry, clerical duties, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with wide format printers for printing on acrylics and vinyls.
• Familiarity with Collex cutting and Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• MS Illustrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone, respond to customer emails, and provide general assistance.
• Review and promote service requests submitted by customers.
• Provide clerical support; maintain files and records.
• Prepare routine correspondence, forms and other documents.
• Collect, verify, retrieve and enter data.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Assist in the preparation and proofing of materials for reports.
• Interact with staff, students and faculty while performing daily workplace duties.
• Communicate with customers to complete work in a cost-effective, efficient and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
