Job summary

Dollar Tree in Sarasota, FL is hiring a Customer Service Associate II to greet shoppers, process transactions, and keep aisles stocked and tidy. You will unload merchandise, support freight processing, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, reliable math for cash handling, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time schedule with opportunities to grow and receive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
