Job summary

Hy-Vee in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Customer Service team member to greet customers, handle a wide range of in-store transactions, and assist with licensed services and money orders. You will contribute to a friendly shopping experience and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Weigh postal packages and process various mail types (certified, express, UPS, etc.).
• Sell money orders and cash payroll, personal, ADC, and social security checks; process Western Union orders.
• Assist customers with licenses and various store services; handle refunds and deposits as needed.
• Answer phones and intercom with professional procedures; keep work area clean and organized.
