Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking customer service professionals to provide expert assistance and build lasting relationships with customers, especially during equipment breakdowns, in a service and parts center.

You will use basic mechanical skills to help solve issues, while learning products and processes. The company emphasizes training, growth toward sales or management, and a stable, established workplace with opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Desire to increase knowledge in industrial distribution products.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
• SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required.

Requirements

Our Customer Service Representatives are self-motivated and driven by a desire to exceed expectations. They have strong prioritization and multitasking skill, a sense of urgency, and take pride in their verbal and written communication.
