Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a results-driven Project Coordinator with hydraulic industry experience. You will coordinate jobs, quote estimates, process orders, and interface with engineering to ensure on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Three years hydraulic industry experience in project management or equivalent with ERP systems.
• Education: High School Graduate or GED; hydraulics experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and organize projects to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver''s license and acceptable MVR.
• Indoor controlled environment with some outdoor/shop exposure.

Responsibilities

• Quote and estimate jobs, assisting sales personnel.
• Process purchase orders into fabrication jobs.
• Order parts from BOM provided by engineering, general manager, branch salesman, customers or previous jobs.
• Interface with engineering department.
• Answer delivery inquiries; check stock, back-order status, vendor schedules and shipping dates.
• Plan, schedule and supervise progress of jobs.
• Expedite order inquiries; investigate defects and incorrect shipments.
• Gather information to close jobs monthly.
• Monitor job costing.
• Project coordination to ensure on-time completion.

Position Summary

Coordinate jobs as per specifications provided. Assists in all CSSR functions for the branch.

Essential Functions

• Quote/estimate jobs, assisting sales personnel.
• Process purchase orders into fabrication jobs.
• Order parts from BOM provided by engineering, general manager, branch salesman, customers or previous jobs.
• Interface with engineering department.
• Answer delivery inquiries, follow upon purchasing and receiving of specific product, checking availability of stock, back-order status, vendor schedules and shipping dates.
• Plan, schedule and supervise progress of jobs
• Expedite order inquiries, checking status of orders, following up on back orders, and lost orders. Will investigate defects, damages, and incorrect shipments. Follow-up on status of in-house repairs.
• Gather all information to close jobs monthly.
• Monitor job costing.
• Project coordination with particular detail to on-time completion.

• Three years hydraulic industry experience in project management or equivalent and with ERP Systems.

Other Requirements

• Valid Driver's License, Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Works indoors in a controlled environment with some time spent in an uncontrolled shop environment or outdoors.
