GSP Transportation Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Agent to welcome customers, identify needs, explain rental options, and recommend value-added products. You will drive sales while delivering outstanding service across the full rental cycle.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Open availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer proficiency including data entry, typing, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional service throughout the customer journey from reservation to return.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, rates, and services clearly.
• Prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain records.
• Engage customers in consultative sales and recommend protection products and upgrades.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by maximizing each interaction.
• Coordinate vehicle availability and ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Protect customer information and comply with procedures.
• Support daily location operations and participate in training.
• Continue to grow knowledge and skills; take on additional duties as assigned.

We are looking for energetic, sales-driven professionals who enjoy building relationships, achieving sales goals, and delivering exceptional service from reservation to return.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional service throughout the customer journey, including reservations, vehicle pickup, returns, and issue resolution.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, rates, and available services clearly and accurately.
• Confirm customer eligibility, prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Engage customers in consultative sales conversations, identify their needs, and confidently recommend protection products, vehicle upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment that add value to their rental experience.
• Meet or exceed individual and location sales goals by maximizing each customer interaction, overcoming objections, and converting opportunities into solutions that benefit both the customer and the business.
• Coordinate vehicle availability and verify that each vehicle meets cleanliness, safety, and readiness standards.
• Safeguard customer information and comply with company rental and operating procedures.
• Support daily location operations by maintaining a professional work area, completing required training, and assisting with assigned tasks.
• Maintain current job knowledge and continuously strengthen relevant skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a satisfactory three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• At least one year of sales or customer service experience.
• Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry, typing, and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Management Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, twisting, bending, and walking; getting in and out of vehicles, driving, and inspecting vehicles
