Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Customer Sales Advisor to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will connect with guests, deliver outstanding service, and contribute to sales goals while learning about warranties, promotions, and profitability in a team environment.

The ideal candidate has prior guest service experience, is at least 18, holds a valid driver's license, and is legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Help drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction through understanding their needs.
• Describe warranties, advertising, and promotions of products and services.
• Take responsibility for guest interactions from initial experience through completed service; make recommendations.
• Schedule appointments, accurately estimating time requirements, and checking out.
• Promote self-development by utilizing Company provided training tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.66/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Selected candidates may be eligible for a number of benefits, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, as well as tire discounts.

General Description

As a Customer Sales Advisor, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by making meaningful connections while delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

• Help drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction through understanding their needs
• Understand and be able to describe all warranties, advertising, and promotion of products and services
• Take responsibility for guest interactions from initial experience through completed service, Make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing recommendations
• including checking in, scheduling appointment, accurately estimating time requirements, and checking out.
• Promote self-development by utilizing Company provided training tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• No relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous Automotive Guest Service experience
• Previous Tire Sales experience
