Job summary

Four Hands in Austin, TX is seeking a dependable Customer Pickup Associate to join our warehouse team. You will help ensure orders are accurate, prepared for pickup, and safely loaded into customers' vehicles, contributing to a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in warehouse operations, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Steel-toed boots are required, and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable with 8 hours of standing/walking in a warehouse.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders for customer pickup.
• Load and unload containers or trucks.
• Load product safely into customers' vehicles.
• Stage and organize customer invoices.
• Scan inventory into correct storage locations.
• Transfer finished materials to designated warehouse areas.
• Identify items on paperwork such as orders, labels, and packing lists.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment per safety policies.
• Meet productivity requirements as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned with training.

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Pickup Associate to join our warehouse team. You'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for our customers by ensuring orders are accurate, well-prepared, and safely loaded.

In This Role

• Pick and stage orders for customer pickup
• Load and unload container and or trucks
• Load product safely into customers' vehicles
• Stage and organize customers invoices
• Scan inventory into correct storage locations
• Transfer finished materials to designated areas within the warehouse
• Identify items on all paperwork, including customer orders, labels, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of lading
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies
• Meet productivity requirements as needed
• Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

• 1+ year of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
• Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
