David Joseph & Company in San Francisco, CA (or Singapore) seeks a hands-on customer operations lead to manage the human-in-the-loop layer between data vendors and frontier labs. You’ll educate non-technical vendors, explain bidding and project workflows, and avoid reactive support.
This full-time, on-site role values judgment, why-to-help timing, and the ability to juggle multiple threads with strong follow-through, leveraging AI tools daily.
San Francisco, CA (or Singapore) · On-site · Full-time Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 + competitive equity
Our client builds the infrastructure to create reinforcement-learning (RL) training data and evaluations for frontier AI agents, plus a marketplace to sell them to frontier labs. The platform is already used by frontier labs, Fortune 500 companies, and startups. It's a small, high-caliber team that is well-funded and growing revenue fast.

Own the customer-facing work that can't or shouldn't be automated — the human-in-the-loop layer across both sides of the marketplace: data suppliers (vendors) and frontier-lab / enterprise buyers. The work leans toward vendors (there are far more vendors than buyers) and toward education: many vendors are non-technical (say, a small accounting shop new to AI), so much of the job is patiently explaining what the platform does and how bidding and the project process work. It's deliberately not a reactive support seat.
