Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist to drive a smooth onboarding experience from implementation through training, building strong client relationships and ensuring value realization. The role is remote in the USA, with a starting salary range of $60,000–$65,000 USD per year and opportunities to support long-term adoption and retention.

You will manage high-volume orders, gather setup information, schedule workbook calls, and document all activities in our CRM while escalating

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B customer success, professional services, or account management.

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SugarCRM (or equivalent) CRM platform(s).

Job Description: Title: Customer Onboarding Specialist Location: Remote – USA Reports to: Director, Professional Services

The Impact You Will Have in This Role

In this role, you will make a direct impact on customer success by ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience from implementation through training. By building strong client relationships, providing proactive support, and managing details effectively, you will help customers quickly realize value, drive adoption, and set the foundation for long-term satisfaction and retention.

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
  • Manage high volume or orders and engage clients through email and phone calls to gather all necessary setup information.
  • Schedule Workbook calls with clients to obtain needed information to complete the setup workbook.
  • Move an order from initial setup through all the necessary steps to successfully complete setups in a timely manner.

Qualifications of this Role
  • 2+ years’ experience in B2B customer success, professional services, or account management.

  • Experience with Sugar CRM (or equivalent) CRM platform(s).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in the automotive space.
  • Understanding of dealership technology systems (eLead, DealerSocket, DealerTrack, vAuto, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc)

This position has a starting salary range of $60,000 – $65,000 USD per year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee’s pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
