Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Clerk to join our team in Montana. As a Store Clerk Team Member, you will provide excellent customer service, handle cash and transactions, stock and rotate merchandise, and help maintain clean, safe store conditions and deli operations.

You will operate the cash register, assist regular customers, monitor for shoplifting, and support management with daily procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating and displaying merchandise.
• Store safety and security, housekeeping, and deli food sales/cooking.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, scan credit cards, accept checks, and bag merchandise.
• Remember regular customers’ names and faces, answer and screen phone calls, police the store, detect shoplifters, and listen to and handle customer complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, complete accurate shift work, clean and maintain all areas of the store, complete vendor check-in procedures, and advise the store manager of any situations or policy violations.
• Sweep the lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps, fill water/cleaning solution buckets on islands, and complete other duties assigned by management.
• Keep the deli areas clean, stocked and running smoothly.
