Job summary

Security Officer position at Securitas US Business Unit in Boston Back Bay. 9am–7pm shifts (10 hours) with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling, and responding to incidents, while providing professional customer service at a high-traffic site.

Minimum requirements include being 18+, legal right to work in the US, and English literacy; a second interview is required. Enhanced benefits and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Requires a 2nd interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service at a client-facing site.
• Heavy foot traffic location – officer engagement and responsiveness with employees.
• Control access (entrance and exit) through the admittance process.
• Exterior patrols on foot to inspect building and grounds.
• Maintain high level of observation and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and management.
• Observe, report, and prepare logs/reports on incidents.
• Respond to emergency situations following site procedures.
