Job summary

Dollar General stores in Oregon are seeking a Customer Service Associate to support daily operations, assist customers, stock merchandise, and manage the register. You’ll follow plan-o-grams, help shoppers locate items, and maintain clean, inviting aisles.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, bagging purchases, and restocking shelves. Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred; a high school diploma is advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate/face stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to total purchases and bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and give change; assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including front end, restrooms and stockroom, and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
• Greet customers and comply with company policies.
