Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the stock room or on the floor.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons and totes; move items to sales floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; face items on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and maintain shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors.
• Clean restrooms and stockrooms; keep front end tidy.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers and provide service.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases and bag items.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Help set up sidewalk displays and maintain storefront appearance.
