Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain store appearance. You will help customers locate merchandise, process purchases, and ensure merchandise is displayed according to planograms while upholding safety and store procedures.

The role includes greeting customers, handling cash transactions, stocking inventory, cleaning the store, and supporting the Store Manager with daily tasks to maximize profitability

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, make change, bag merchandise.
• Follow merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise, build displays.
• Clean the store, manage trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving area, set up sidewalk displays.
