Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate in Charlottesville, VA. You will greet customers, run the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, and we value reliability and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include handling lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with proper age checks, stocking, and cross-training in other departments. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Criminal history background check may be required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older; ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with proper age verification and compliance.
• Upsell products to increase store sales where appropriate.
• Maintain store cleanliness indoors and outdoors, including bathrooms and pump areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays so merchandise looks fresh and inviting.
• Cross-train in other departments (e.g., deli) as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
• Be flexible and ready to assist wherever needed.
