Job summary

Dollar General in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a Store Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams while protecting company assets.

You will assist shoppers, operate a cash register, handle payments, restock, and help with merchandising and shelf presentation. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Assist customers by locating items and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, and bag purchases.
• Restock, clean store areas, and comply with policies.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners as needed.
