Job summary

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; face merchandise.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restrooms and stockrooms.
• Greet customers and operate cash register; total purchases and bag items.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Clean front end and assist with sidewalk displays.
