Job summary

TJ Maxx in Hastings, MI is seeking a Retail Associate to provide outstanding customer service on the sales floor. You’ll assist customers, process purchases and returns, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy objects, a flexible schedule, and teamwork. Retail experience is preferred, and training will be provided to succeed in this fast-paced off-price retailer.

• Maintains merchandising philosophy and follows procedures and standards.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Participates in store recovery and maintains cleanliness of the store.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
