Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, help set up plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and assist with daily store operations in Enid, Oklahoma.

The role involves greeting customers, operating the cash register, bagging purchases, and handling payments. Workers will also help unload trucks and support merchandising and cleanliness throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build and arrange merchandise displays; stock and rotate items on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating products.
• Greet customers and assist with purchases; operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners and maintain store cleanliness including front end, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and support teamwork.
