Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as a point of contact for customers, assist in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and help maintain store appearance.

The role requires strong communication, basic cash handling, ability to read planograms, and physical stamina to stand and lift up to 40 pounds, with duties under the Store Manager to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner, total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Follow merchandise processes: unpack, stock, rotate, and display merchandise.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop, clean restrooms and receiving area, and set up sidewalk displays.
