Job summary

Walgreens in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team and ensure accurate medication dispensing and customer care. You will assist the pharmacist, enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, fill prescriptions, and help maintain inventory while delivering friendly service to customers and patients.

Experience in a retail setting and good math and computer skills are preferred; PTCB certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacist and store management; enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; fill prescriptions.
• Process third-party prescription claims; assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Support pharmacy department operations and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Handle customer calls and direct them to the appropriate staff; assist with cash register and transactions.
