Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a friendly, customer-focused cashier to join our team in a fast-paced, community-oriented store. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and help keep the front end tidy and inviting.

Prior hardware experience is a plus but not required, as extensive training is provided. The role offers a supportive team environment with opportunities to learn and grow within the store.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly, and helpful team member to welcome customers.
• Training provided for those without prior hardware experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product location.
• Handle cash transactions and balance the register drawer.
• Assist with stocking, pricing, marking, and bagging merchandise.
• Keep the front end neat and presentable and ensure promotional materials are displayed.
• Support store promotions and attend team meetings.
