Job summary

Northdale Oil Inc is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our convenience store team. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and helping maintain a clean, organized store environment.

This role requires good math skills, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You will handle cash, checks, and card payments, balance the till, and assist with stocking and safety procedures while supporting fellow team

Qualifications

Some high school education preferred.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and solve problems.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Basic math skills.
Must be able to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

Maintain high level of customer service.
Register sales on cash register.
Accept payments by cash, check, charge, or credit card; make change as needed.
Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
Balance cash drawer at end of shift.
Generate accurate till reports for each register.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform procedures to ensure store is clean and stocked.
