Job summary

Goodwill Selah is seeking a Full Time Cashier to join our store in Selah, WA. The hourly rate is $17.13, and you will operate the cash registers, provide friendly customer service, and keep the sales floor well stocked and inviting.

Responsibilities include handling cash securely, answering inquiries, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and supporting the team to meet store goals. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills.
• Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers.
• Maintain shelf stock; stock the sales floor as needed and directed by store management.
• Answer phone inquiries.
• Maintain a safe/clean and well-merchandised store.
• Provide excellent customer service to a variety of customers.
• Follow Goodwill’s cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Be a team player to accomplish deadlines and goals.
