Responsibilities

• Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Operate and maintain a cash register; collect monies, count change, prepare receipts, balance drawer, and print reports.
• Respond to customer questions and assist donors.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays.
• Secure merchandise and cash register area; maintain security of cash and merchandise.
• Clean display racks, sweep and mop floors, clean windows; maintain overall cleanliness of store.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
