Job summary

Save A Lot in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a friendly Store Clerk to handle cashiering, stocking, cleaning and assisting customers. You will operate the register, handle cash, EBT, and checks, and ensure shelves are stocked and prices are correct.

You will help maintain clean, safe store conditions and support management as needed. The role requires reliability, basic math and communication skills; experience in retail is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven, efficient retail sales experience is preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and customer service is preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak English; teamwork and problem solving.
• Proficiency with basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register and processes transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and merchandise and ensure price tags are correct.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and assist with perishables.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and rotating stock.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service to guests.
• Support training of other team members as needed.
