Job summary

J&H Family Stores is seeking a front-line cashier to provide fast, friendly customer service and accurate checkout experiences in our Grandville, MI location. You will itemize purchases, verify ages for restricted items, process payments, balance the cash drawer, and receive merchandise.

Role requires reading English, basic math skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. You will maintain shelves, assist with inventory, and uphold store appearance and safety standards daily.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented; ability to assist customers with purchases and questions.
• Cash handling accuracy and basic math for totals and change.
• Clear spoken and written English proficiency.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers.

Responsibilities
