Job summary

Kind Hospitality is seeking a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with customers efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will operate a cash register and product scanner, accept payments, provide receipts, and ensure each customer leaves satisfied.

You will greet shoppers, balance the register, handle returns, upsell when appropriate, and maintain basic computer skills. Prior cashier or retail experience is a plus; a high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises.
• Managing transactions using a cash register.
• Balancing the cash register.
• Scanning goods and ensuring pricing and quantities are accurate.
• Accepting payments in cash, credit or check.
• Providing change and receipts.
• Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cards.
• Processing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints.
• Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport.
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate.
