Job summary

Easterseals-Goodwill in Helena, MT is seeking a friendly cashier to greet guests, ring up purchases, and maintain neat displays. You will assist customers with change, help keep the store orderly, and support stock replenishment as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of merchandise, cash register operations, and change-making.
• Ability to work with people having different abilities.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, days, evenings, and weekends.
• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for entire shift (excluding break times).
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with purchases at the register.
• Change and maintain displays as needed.
• Keep the store neat and clean throughout the shift.
• Assist with replenishment of stock and removal of merchandise from the sales floor.
• Strive to meet daily sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Cross-train and assist in all aspects of retail operations as directed.
