Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a friendly Cashier to handle register transactions and returns with accuracy while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced store.

Greet customers, maintain front-end appearance, assist with pricing and stock, and help customers locate products. Standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs required.

High School or GED required; cashier or customer service experience preferred; compensation is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Project a positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Thank customers by name, when possible, when they are leaving the store.
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
• Answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
• Continually build product knowledge base and assist customers with store layout and product location.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise.
