Euston Hardware in Prairie Village, KS is seeking a courteous cashier to operate the checkout, assist customers, and maintain an inviting store front. You will answer questions, process transactions, and help with merchandise location while upholding company values.

As a frontline team member, you will promote loyalty programs, handle returns and payments, and work with others to ensure a smooth customer experience. Flexible weekends and holidays may be required.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Create an inviting environment by keeping the front end clean and orderly.
• Greet customers verbally as they enter the store.
• Answer basic questions about merchandise and location.
• Answer phones and transfer to correct department.
• Ensure smooth checkout with efficient traffic flow.
• Know store policies including returns, refunds, and payments.
• Promote loyalty programs and seasonal promotions.
• Identify shoplifters and act per policy.
• Operate POS equipment and process transactions.
• Maintain displays around the checkout and stock as needed.
• Open/close cash till procedures.
• Assist staff with other tasks and attend meetings.
• Adhere to store policies and safety standards.
