Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a friendly cashier to work in a fast-paced environment, providing accurate and speedy service to customers at Staunton. Training is available, no experience required, with opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety guidelines while supporting a diverse customer base of travelers and local shoppers.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or cashier roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register by processing transactions and suggesting add-ons to customers.
• Maintain proper food safety where applicable and keep areas clean and organized.
• Clean and upkeep assigned areas including sales floor, restrooms, and workstations.
• Cross-training in departments such as Restaurant Services or Maintenance may occur.
• Physical ability to move and lift 25+ pounds in varying temperatures.
