Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, occasional up to 55 pounds.
• Experience with cash registers or POS systems.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes; store or stock shelves.
• Build displays and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating items and operate checkout equipment.
• Greet customers and handle payments; bag merchandise and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean, including floors and restrooms, and manage trash.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
