Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve customers at our Illinois location. You will greet shoppers, assist with locating merchandise, operate the register, and help stock, rotate, and display products to support store profitability.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, basic cash handling, and teamwork with store management. Prior retail experience is helpful; high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment and make change.
• Follow merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust, mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving area.
