Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as a friendly point of contact for customers. You will assist shoppers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing purchases, stocking shelves, rotating products, and supporting the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to greet and assist customers.
• Basic safety policies knowledge and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures and making change.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and handle payments.
• Unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Clean store, take out trash, mop floors, and maintain restroom and receiving areas.
