Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking a Retail Associate to help ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. The role involves greeting shoppers, assisting with merchandise, and processing transactions on the sales floor.

We expect friendly communication, basic math, and an ability to keep the store clean and well merchandised while following safety and MOS policies. This is an on-site role supporting daily retail operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates, and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative, and pleasant manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and questions in a courteous manner.
• Operate registers, assist customers, and ensure accurate transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Support loss prevention awareness and follow MOS policies where applicable.
• Adhere to dress code and uphold the Ross brand in all interactions.
