Ross Stores in Portsmouth, VA is looking for a Retail Associate to provide a positive shopping experience, greet customers, and help with merchandise presentation while upholding store standards.

You will assist customers, keep the store clean, and follow company best practices to support sales and safety. Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist within our expanding off-price retailer.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Comfort with standing and moving around the store for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Greets all Customers with eye contact, a smile, and a friendly hello.
• Assists Customers in locating and selecting merchandise and answering questions.
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including restrooms and sales floor.
• Follows MOS, POS procedures, and store policies to ensure accurate transactions.
• Provides prompt and courteous responses to Customer inquiries and calls for leadership when needed.
