Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking part-time Retail Store Associates to help customers with care and convenience, from greeting shoppers to locating items and processing transactions.

You will support pharmacy staff when needed, keep shelves stocked, and participate in opening/closing duties while adopting CVS services and loyalty programs. This role offers meaningful work in a team setting and opportunities for growth within a national health retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service and resolve issues.
• Greet customers, assist with locating items, and offer help.
• Accurately handle cash, checks and cards following policies.
• Maintain shelves, update pricing, and assist with inventory.
• Support opening/closing store activities as needed.
• Assist departments including photo and beauty and stay updated on services.
• Assist pharmacy personnel and participate in growth opportunities.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs.
