Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Sales Associate to serve as the primary contact for customers in our store. You will help customers locate and purchase items, operate the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean while supporting store profitability.

This role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth across locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to operate cash register and process payments.
• Stocking, restocking and merchandising per planograms.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds (55 pounds occasionally).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register and assist with purchases.
• Unpack and stock merchandise and rotate displays.
• Keep the store clean and organized, assist with sidewalk displays.
