Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a part-time cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers with payments and exchanges. You’ll answer questions, assist in self-checkout, and ensure accuracy and efficiency at the register.

Evenings and weekends may be required. The role supports store operations, stocking and customer service as needed, with a focus on ensuring customers leave satisfied.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer to input/access information.
• Able to lift 10–15 lbs unassisted or more with help as needed.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
