Job summary

Lee's Discount Liquor is seeking a cashier/stocker to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining stocked, organized shelves. You will operate the register, assist customers, verify IDs for alcohol, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities include reporting discrepancies, stock management, up-selling, and complying with all applicable laws. This role requires standing 8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ to handle alcohol sales.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with purchases.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep coolers and shelves stocked and fronted; maintain store cleanliness.
• Verify IDs for alcohol sales and adhere to regulations.
• Post markups/markdowns and manage store use of merchandise.
• Prepare shift-change reports and minimize cashier errors.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift and lift 20–50 lbs as needed.
