Job summary

Lee’s Discount Liquor in Las Vegas, NV seeks a cashier/stocker to deliver excellent customer service while keeping the store well stocked and organized. You will handle cash register operations, assist customers, verify IDs for alcohol sales, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

The role includes standing an 8-hour shift, lifting 20–50 lbs, and following all regulations. Training provided; background check may be required. Store Manager reports will oversee you.

Qualifications

• Solid customer service skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process sales.

Responsibilities

• Follow Customer Relations Philosophy and place customer first.
• Adhere to management directions and company policies.
• Report discrepancies in sales, cash, or operations to store management.
• Prepare shift-change reports and minimize cashier errors.
• Post markups/markdowns and document write-offs accurately.
• Flag situations impacting store operations to management.
• Keep coolers and shelves stocked and fronted.
• Lift 20–50 lbs as needed.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Maintain clean register area, floors, and restrooms; ensure displays are tidy.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations.
• Upsell products that complement customer purchases.
• Provide friendly service with greetings and smiles before and after checkout.
