Job summary

H&S Energy in Salinas is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support daily store operations, cashiering, and maintain high food and beverage quality. You will create a welcoming environment and provide product knowledge with friendly interactions to ensure exceptional service.

Experience in retail or food service is preferred. Ability to multitask, communicate well, and work nights/weekends is helpful for a successful fit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, accurate service at checkout.
• Operate POS and handle cash, credit, and refunds per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized store presentations and merchandising.
• Prepare and maintain self-serve food/beverage stations and ensure safety.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to management.
