Job summary

Runnings is seeking a Retail Cashier to provide excellent customer service at the store entrance and checkout. You will handle transactions, answer questions, and assist customers throughout their visit in a fast-paced retail environment.

Hours vary including evenings until 9pm and rotating weekend/holiday coverage. The role requires accurate cash handling, stocking merchandise, and occasional price changes as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and balance cash drawer.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the store and assist with service questions.
• Answer incoming calls and handle appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using KCX cash register system.
• Maintain accurate cash handling.
• Price merchandise as directed by management.
• Stock shelves as requested by management.
• Handle customer returns.
• Other duties as assigned.
