Job summary

Aramark is seeking a friendly cashier to greet guests, handle transactions, and balance cash while delivering top-notch customer service. You will learn the product line, assist customers, and follow cash-handling policies.

The role includes opening/closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring stock levels are adequate during service. Experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferable.
• Previous cash handling experience preferable.
• Basic math and counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understand and be knowledgeable of merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening and closing procedures per unit operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at end of shift.
• Ensure product is stocked and replenished as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
