Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Ocala, FL is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the face of the store, processing orders quickly while ensuring excellent customer service. You’ll handle cash and payments, assist customers with locating products, and help keep the front end clean and organized.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and daily Pay options.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and multi-task efficiently.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts as needed.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments and give correct change.
• Assist customers by locating products and providing directions.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow front-end procedures and support stocking and merchandising as needed.
