Job summary

Runnings is seeking a Cashier to interact with customers as they enter and leave the retail store. The primary function is to provide excellent customer service. Hours vary and there may be occasional night or weekend coverage.

Pay range is $15.00-$16.00 per hour depending on experience. The role includes greeting customers, answering phones, processing transactions with the KCX cash register system, accurate cash handling, pricing and stocking merchandise, and handling returns in a retail

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Responsible for handling customer returns.
